RECIPE OF THE WEEK

                                               
                                       
               NATIVE COCONUT RICE
        culled from Mama P's recipe book





Indregients

  • Dry fish
  • Smoked ice fish
  • cray fish
  • coconut
  •  Pepper
  • Onions
  • rice
  • tomatoes
  • knorr
  • dry pepper
  • salt
  • groundnut-oil


Instructions
  1.  per-boil and wash rice
  2. blend  tomato, onions and pepper
  3. break and slice coconut then blend
  4. extract coconut milk from blended coconut
  5. slice onions
  6. put pot on fire
  7. pour coconut milk in
  8. add blended tomato and groundnut-oil
  9. add onions, crayfish, dry fish and ice-fish
  10. add dry pepper, maggi and salt (to taste )
  11. cover and leave to boil for five minutes
  12. add boiled rice and leave to cook for a while( stir at intervals)
  13. once rice is cooked to your taste
  14. dish and enjoy with veggies on the side or plain
